Hi everyone!!!
Sorry it's been so long. I wanted to say the prayers and support have been amazing. Today is May 3 and I cant beive its beeen a month since surgery. I am still moving pretty slow. However the progress from last week to this week has been great. I am staying up longer periods during
the day. I am off all but one of my pain meds. I am still on a pain patch which has been a real help. It is good to have my thoughts clearing and feeling better all those narcotics just fuzzy my brain. I have not talked on the phone much , thank you all for understanding. Kevin is feeling better. He seems to do better mentally and sleep better when I am doing better. We are so excited about being able to be apart of a new Sunday school class starting this Sunday at our Church Faith FAmiliy Fellowship.
As if haveing such a successfull surgey wasn't enough we just feel like the Lord is answering
some long time prayers and petitions restoring those years the locust had eaten. Several of you have asked how you can help and felt kind of helpless,but I can tell you that I am at the place that if anyone would like to come clean my bathrooms or floors I would gladly except the help. Connie has been gone a week now and the kids and Kevin have done a great job holding it together ,but us moms know that sometimes its just needs an extra good mom scrub. I am not picky once or twice a week would be plenty. Joell palmer has been a sweety to help coordinate this effort at least until I am really on my feet again so those of you that know her may want to contact her. The childrens school Bay shore Christian has ministered to us through meals and will be doing so through May 23. Boy they have all hit a home run for us. I am not eating great yet and the smell of food is not the most appealing so my family has so appreciated their unique labor of love!!! We have been talking with our Med Onco. about te next step so as soon as we know something we will let you know. I can tell you taht Friday night MAy 4 I have been asked to speak at the Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society in Daphne . The kick off is a 6:00 Pm @ Daphne Middle School .So any that would like to come out to support this cause we would love to see you! Well I have rattled enough thank you all for you love, your cards, calls, prayers and encouragements.
