Jenny's Home

Hello, from the Busby's. Just an update to let everyone know that Jenny is home as of Friday, the 8th. We are so grateful for your continued prayers and the Love we feel is off the scale. The children and I are so happy to have her home, even though she is still very sick, her presence and smile brings sunshine to us all. The children will be in VBS all next week, and CHBC has sent meals for the week this week, therefore those two issues are taken care of for those inquiring on needs, if that helps those of you in co-ordinating helps.
She will have radiation on Monday and Tuesday, and then begin chemotherapy on Thursday the 14th. The focus of radiation has been on the large mass that was blocking the bowels, leaving the other masses to be aggressive, thus the chemo will begin on Thursday.
We just wanted to communicate to our loved ones and fill in the gray, and more importantly tell you we love you all. Thank you for continuing to knock at heavens door in our behalf. Until next blog, hugs and kisses; the Busby's...

In Christ,

Hallelujah

Good morning soldiers of prayer!! In all my life, I never thought I would find myself praising the Lord over a bowel movement; much less, bragging about it over the internet. Yes, Jennifer was relieved in the night three times. We agree that God hears the prayers of His people, and I want to thank you for bowing your heart and your knee in this matter. I don't have much time to blog this morning, I have to see several clients today and I need to get underway. Just know that we are rejoicing together and please keep on praying for the miracle and His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. She has been told that she may come home after having a bowel movement, but she has until Friday to complete her radiation, therefore she may choose to stay there until then, otherwise we would have to make the journey from Loxley to Mobile each day for treatment. I Love you all very much and we feel your Love as well.

Good morning to all. As some of you already know, Jenny has been in Mobile Infirmary since 5/25/07. We went to have a CT scan on that same day, due to complications that she was having in her bowels. She was admitted on that same day, because we have several new tumors that have become very aggressive and one in particular is pushing very hard against her large intestines, making no way for her to move her bowels. She is now in a controlled state of pain management and as of today, there has been no movement. Dr. Beeker has suggested to begin a strategic attack on the one tumor that is blocking the bowels, in order to relieve what would bring almost instant comfort to the situation. She would still have sporadic discomfort, because of the bowels spasms that would follow for a few days, but not equivalent to what she is undergoing now. Many of you have asked, "if this goal is not accomplished, what will happen?" The only way that I can answer that in the natural, is that the bowels could possibly leak and cause peritonitis. Dr. Thompson would take the opportunity to perform a colostomy before it would get that grave, i am certain. I want to thank everyone for the Love we receive from you in whatever package offered, whether it is to minister to our children, clean the house, cut the grass, get the mail, etc... With everything happening so suddenly, many of you helped with those things in the last few weeks and we are so grateful, you have truly deaconed me and my family. In the passing days and nights in the suite of room 4652 with a view, Jenny and I started forming a plan to put people in place to delegate some of the obvious needs and to give Meredith and Jacob some obvious needs as well, normalcy being one of them. My brother and sister-in-law, (Ken and Katrina Busby) have agreed to take a lot of calls for me, in order to give me time with Jennifer and the kids. Their phone # is 666-4780 or 767-4451. Please understand that my cell phone requires a major portion of my business day for what I do as a rep. for Barnett Millworks, and the influx of calls with Jenny in the hospital is compounded. PLEASE know my heart, you are simply Loving on us by staying in touch and knowing how to pray for us. Dorathy, Jennifer's sister will be here on Wednesday the 6th, and will stay here until the 17th with the children and minister to them. During these few days they will be going to VBS. Connie Purtilo will be flying in on the 18th to shake hands with Dorothy as she leaves for a week to New York and Connie will stay with the children until no longer necessary.
God has been faithful in giving us our needs, our large family of friends is certainly one of the most gratifying needs we have and we cherish that. I simply do not know how people go through life or the uncertainties of life without someone to hold your arms up. That being said, "you are true friends," and I ask our Lord to Bless you for being a blessing.
Jenny is asking for everyone to stay positive and to remember the story of Elijah instructing Elisha, when they were surrounded by the enemy, Elisha asked that he could see what Elijah could see beyond the enemy. With that request, the Lord illuminated the hillside with God's angelic host which revealed peace now shared between two brothers. Our faith is many times hindered by approaching enemy's, mine included; and this tumorous enemy is one that strikes hard. We believe God's word that, dying is a part of living and yet however that day may come for either of us, we will depart with our sword in our hand, ON THE BATTLEFIELD. Please continue to pray with us for healing, and this is the scripture the Lord reveals to us often, John 9:1-3. Obviously this man had suffered a trial for a long time which the local psychologist did not have the slant on, Jesus now reveals the reason and the revelation, more importantly the glorification on the one who created us all. When something is broke or not working properly, you have to bring it back to the manufacturer. We so understand that God uses doctors and medicine and believe me they are a blessing to us, but our hope is sealed in what our Lord will be glorified in doing in His perfect time. I Love you all and remember to take as many opportunities to serve your beloved today, the benefits are great!

In Christ,

Kevin & Jennifer
